My Secret Diary App Reviews

Okay Ive used this app for maybe 3 years now. I love to use it but for a good while now when ever I use it it glitches or closes itself. Im very tempted to find another app to use and stop using this all together. Please fix or I will soon quit all together.

When I installed this app I was eager to try it. However when I went into the settings and pressed the icons for the password, the app would not let me press the done button. I was very disappointed. I have downloaded this app countless times without this issue. Please fix this problem.

After typing so much, the words stop showing up, so you have to skip a lot of lines and it looks weird. The option to enter a lock code is available, but when you choose the 3 numbers you want, the done button doesnt work, so theres no point. The look could also be a little more modern. Its trusty and neat. And I love the flipping page update because previously, I would be trying to edit a word and the pages would turn when that wasnt my intention.

So easy and fluid to write one. I love the 3 digit passcode function. The multiple pages function. To separate events of the day, and prayer, and gratitude /inspirational thoughts. Etc, the options are many. Wish to have more stickers free in the future. And more ways to back up my journal with leading document apps! (I used it primarily on my iPad)

It has glitches with the locking....

Listen up my good dudes, Ive used this app since I was 10 all the way up until I was 14 and I loved it so much, thus I shall give it a three star. Now a few years later its undergone some changes and it kinda made the app a little bad. I cant make a passcode anymore, once I enter the code and want to set it, the "done" button doesnt work so I cant set it. Thats no big deal to me, but halfway through writing a journal it just stops and I cant do anything to continue writing. Ill try and go back to the place it stopped writing but whenever I try to continue typing, it just glitches and moves the screen up. Can yall do something about this my great guys and gals? Thanks my good friends.

I havent been on it in a while and I wanted to type in it but then I forgot my password and I couldnt get in it. So I said oh reset password and I did everything I was supposed to reset my password and it didnt reset my password. So there is no way for me to get in it and I had notes in there from the best trip Ive ever had and now there gone forever. And they dont keep peoples passwords with them so once you forget your password your done you dont go in it anymore. So I give this app a two star rating.

I cant put in a password so please fix that and it would be a great app

I tried to write my whole day and it wouldnt let me. Only gives you 30 lines or so! Might as well write my day on Notes for IPhone!!!

This app helped a lot but I couldnt put in a passcode... Not recommended for people with snoopy siblings

This app is great other than, when I try to set the passcode. I set it and then I try to press done and it doesnt work! Please fix this. This could be a 5 star if this was fixed! Thanks:)

Wont let you set a passcode. Handy diary was better.

Im trying to use your app but I cant create a new lock code please help me with this.

I used to enjoy this app more. After a recent update, whenever I stopped writing at the righthand side of the page, and tried to write again by clicking on the right side of the page, I ended up flipping to the next page.

I have literally been using this app for years. I personally like the old version, the fact that you have to hit this check to continue writing is so annoying. Also you cant set a password anymore, but its called "my secret diary". I lost all of my old logs from the past 3 years in this update as well. Im definitely going to find a new app and transfer the logs that I do have.

I used to love this app and I wrote a ton of stuff in it, but after trying to upload to Dropbox, the app crashes even before I get to open it! Im sad because I dont want to lose everything I wrote, but Im not sure how to get back the files. Please fix soon!

I love this app I always used it along time ago I just downloaded it again but I cant put a code to lock it cause I cant press dont on my iPhone 6s please fix

Its a good app but it has a lot of flaws. Pros: 1. You can have different tabs open on one entry. 2. There are stickers and a calendar that shows you what days youve written entries on. 3. The app connects to Apple Music. Cons: 1. You cant listen to playlists. You have to select individual songs after the previous song ends. Its really annoying because I like listening to music and I have to stop writing to select a new song every time one ends. This is one of the worst things about this app. 2. The music is a bit glitchy. Sometimes the app just turns it off randomly. Its annoying. 3. I hate pink. You should have the option to have different colors. That would be cool. 4. Lots of bugs/glitches. One of the most annoying ones is that sometimes the app doesnt save the stuff youve typed. You have to hit the check mark for it to save. I remember once I was writing and I had like 5 paragraphs and it apparently didnt save. I accidentally turned the page and when I came back the whole entry was gone. I was so done after that. And the password thing glitches when you try to set a password. Which means your diary isnt actually secret. Other than that the app is good. There are good and bad things about it. I have to say the bad things kinda outweigh the good things but its still a good start. Please fix these problems in the next few updates. I would use it a lot more if you did.

okay when i try to enter the code lock it doesnt let me press done and to many apps cover the page and when you leave the app and go back your entry is gone
